Otech Consultants was founded in September 2013 by Brayden West and is “Your Outdoor Technical Consultants”. Predominantly operating in the Outdoor Field (but not limited to) we specialise in managing:

Otech Consultants was created with a goal to provide everyone with the opportunity to gain an appreciation of the outdoor environment while pushing personal boundaries and challenging internal limitations. This is done through a number of mediums including Team Development programs, Outdoor Education camps for students, recreational pursuits, or for the underprivileged and people with special needs.
Otech Consultants also provides specialised technical advice and safety auditing based on over 21 years of hands on technical experience in the industry.

Brayden’s experience commenced in 1998 and is across a multitude of Outdoor pursuit electives. These days, while still conducting various outdoor based programs for Educational, Corporate and Recreational clients’ a lot of his time is spent consulting on Roping based activities such as; artificial Climbing Walls and Abseil Platforms, Low Ropes Course and unique Abseiling environments. Having undertaken courses in risk management, Brayden also conducts safety audits of these roping based environments. Brayden is a qualified Trainer and Assessor (Cert 4 TAE), a registered instructor with the National Outdoor Leader Registration Scheme (NOLRS), he has completed a Certificate IV of Outdoor Recreation, specialising in Bush Walking, Roping, Caving and Water Activities (Kayaking and Canoeing). Brayden’s passion and drive for the Outdoor industry has also seen him assist with the writing of the Adventure Activity Standards for the State of Western Australia, where he sat on the Technical Working Committee for the water component.
